Pitman Training: Pitman Training offer a choice of classes at one of their learning centres around the UK or distance courses carried out online. The company was founded by Sir Isacc Pitman, the inventor of shorthand, and they also offer Teeline shorthand classes.

The London School of Journalism: The London School of Journalism media training college provides shorthand classes as part of their journalism course or separately. They say that students should achieve between 50 and 100 words a minute.

They have three levels of price – £25 for the basic course, £50 for the middle course with some support, and £150 for the platinum level with maximum learning support.
The College of Media and Publishing has an online distance learning course for teeline shorthand which provides 12 video theory lessons, mp4 dictations, exam coaching and tutor support. The price is £294.50 payable in three installments of £98.16
Online Shorthand offers three levels of courses – beginner, intermediate and advanced. The site is based in the UK and includes positive reviews, but prices are high – £695 for beginners, £495 for intermediate and £495 for advanced. Considering that some people will have to take all three courses to reach 100 words-a-minute, this seems very expensive, especially when other online courses are much less.
Online Shorthand by Reception Plus is based in Australia and charges $25 per webinar for students in Australia and $27 for worldwide students. They only have Pitman lessons available and not Teeline.
